Toaster Oven Recipes
Below are some simple recipes which you can prepare with a space saving toaster oven:
Toaster Pizza
Ingredients:
- 6 muffins, sliced in half
- chicken meat
- tomato sauce
- mushrooms, sauteed
- Butter
- mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
1. First of all, butter and toast 12 muffin halves.
2. After that, spread the tomato sauce on the muffin halves with a teaspoon.
3. Next, layer the chicken meat with sauteed mushrooms, tomato sauce and top it with mozzarella cheese.
4. Toast again to melt the cheese then cut them into bite-size pieces.
5. Serve and enjoy!
Toaster Tarts
Ingredients:
- 2 cups package biscuit mix
- 1 1/2 cups cornflakes, crushed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup hot water
- strawberries
Instructions:
1. First of all, in a mixing bowl, combine the biscuit mix with the cornflake. Combine and mix well.
2. Add in the shortening and cut in with pastry blender until the mixture looks like coarse corn meal.
3. Now, divide the dough in half and roll each half into 12 inch square. Cut each into 3 by 4 rectangles.
4. Place 12 on ungreased cookie sheet and top each with strawberries then cover with remaining 12 rectangles.
5. Moisten the edges with water then seal securely.
6. Bake for 15 minutes at 400 °F (204°C).
